How We Began
Our president, Darrell Porter, started his sales journey selling energy solutions to families in Canada. He observed that although they helped to an extent, the available offerings didn’t always match what the customers needed based on their unique situation.
After moving to the US and witnessing the launch of community solar in 2021, he saw it as the perfect opportunity to provide more value to energy customers.
Immediately it was clear that community solar was a much better option to help households see more immediate, tangible benefits. After rent and mortgage payments, utilities are the area where households incur the highest costs. So not only does community solar help the environment but it also helps customers save money on their bills from the get-go, providing them with much needed peace of mind.
